Last day of hockey was on Monday. Great effort from all involved.

THE YEAR 7-8 HOCKEY TEAM HAD A GREAT  SEASON THIS YEAR AND THE PLAYERS SKILLS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE SEASON

Hockey has finished for the season and our netball teams have their last games this Saturday.

Congratulations to the following who were all selected for age group representative rugby teams:

Ross Brown (South) – Daniel Taunt and Hunter Arnold

Michaela Blyde U 13 – Poppy White

Conrad Smith (South) – Tyler Dettling, Jaxon Kelbrick, Ollie Larsen, Quinn O’Sullivan (absent from the photo), Angus O’Sullivan

HEALTH CURRICULUM SURVEY

If you haven’t had a chance yet to complete the Health Curriculum Survey, please check your email and complete online, it will only take a couple of minutes.  If you prefer a paper copy, one is available from the school office.  You have until this Friday to complete and go into the draw to win a $50 New World Voucher.

Rich – Weir Cup Games vs Toko – Both the netball and rugby matches will be played at school beginning at1pm on Friday. This is an annual event with Ngaere having won the rugby challenge trophy in 2023. All are welcome to come along and support our teams.

Thank you to Greg Rowlands for coaching the rugby team and Stacey Clough for coaching the netball girls. Stratford High School have supplied netball umpires and linesmen for the rugby.

McLeod Shield / Hurlstone Cup This is a Year 7 & 8 interschool tournament day in Hawera on Wednesday 21 August. We have entered a team in rugby, netball and soccer. Children will be travelling by bus. 

School Production: Auditions for main characters have been held and classes are working on their own parts for the school production which will be showcased on Thursday 18th September. This date has been changed from the initial Wednesday 17th Sept due to a clash of events in Stratford on that same evening. We hope to hold both a matinee and an evening performance to accomodate our families wanting to come along and watch. More details will be sent home in the coming weeks.

FRIDAY PIE DAY THIS WEEK!

Please have orders in by Thursday 9am.

Mince Pie $5, Mince & Cheese Pie $5, Sausage Roll $3, Lasagne Topper $3 small mince pie $1.50.

Spare order forms are available from the school office.

SPORTS UNIFORMS: Please return sports uniforms (basketball and netball) as soon as possible.  Thank you.
