Kia ora e te whānau,

Another busy week with only a couple more to come. There’s lots of exciting events happening in and around school over the next couple of weeks before we break for the summer.

A big thanks to Mr Wells and Mrs Ries for getting the school pool up and running; the kids are loving the chance to cool down during these hot days. We’ll have a roster in place for lunchtime swimming as of next week. Keys for community use over the summer will be made available shortly. We’re just tighening up some of the health & safety guidelines to ensure a positive experience for all – so watch this space.

Class placements for 2025 can be found in the link below. Student placement has been made to consider academic spread, social and peer groupings, gender balance as well as learning needs. With only seven classes to place students into, we as a staff believe we’ve got the best fit possible.

A big thank you to the parents/caregivers who have taken the time to provide feedback on our communication processes and our strategic direction. We value the voice of our parent community. This helps us stay united and aligned in our thinking as well as supports the staff and Board to make decisions that reflect the insights of all those with investment in ensuring we provide excellent learning experiences for our tamariki.

Have a fabulous weekend!
